Karuppu Story
Karuppu follows Binu and her father, who travel from Kerala to Chennai for her liver transplant treatment. The gold they intend to use for the treatment is stolen, leaving them trapped in a difficult situation.
After approaching the authorities, the family becomes caught in a lengthy and corrupt legal process. Their struggle exposes how ordinary people can be exploited by a system that is supposed to provide justice.
When the situation reaches a critical point, Binu's father invokes the guardian deity Karuppu. Suriya's character enters the story as advocate Saravanan and becomes connected with Karuppu, taking on the fight against injustice.
The film uses this premise to combine a courtroom story with mythology, fantasy, action and commercial entertainment.

Final Verdict
Karuppu is an ambitious fantasy courtroom entertainer that combines a mythology-inspired premise with a story about corruption and the struggle for justice. Suriya's performance is one of the film's major strengths, while RJ Balaji brings a commercial style to the courtroom and fantasy elements.
The film works best when it focuses on its central conflict and Suriya's character. Some screenplay and execution issues prevent it from being a completely consistent experience, but viewers who enjoy fantasy, courtroom drama, mythology and commercial Tamil cinema may find it worth watching.
